Clarke Farm and coffee estate is an eco-friendly farm in Fort Portal, Western Uganda, which specialises in high quality arabica coffee. The farm focuses on quality, integrity and respect by bringing value addition activities, implementing climate-smart agriculture and innovative agronomy practices while engaging with the local community and Ugandan coffee farmer development.
Their coffee is grown between 1600-2300masl on the slopes of the Rwenzori mountains, which is home to the third highest peak in Africa. The region is optimal for coffee growing due to nutrient rich soil partnered with a favourable climate.
This is one of two coffees we sourced from the wonderful producers at Clarke Farm recently, and they are wonderfully different. This one is a natural process with tropical sweetness and is just downright lovely.
