Roast Breakdown
We developed this one just enough to unlock the fruity flavours and juicy mouthfeel but not too far that we lose the brightness and acidity. We opted for a larger batch size and began with a decent amount of heat initially and increased the airflow a couple of times leading up to first crack. As always, every coffee is unique and we kept a watchful eye on the Rate of Rise (RoR) and made careful, steady adjustments to the burner to achieve the desired end bean temperature and development.
