Discover a coffee where cutting-edge innovation meets deep-rooted community spirit.
Produced at the Kinini Washing Station in the Northern Province, this Bourbon Mayaguez 139 lot represents the pinnacle of modern Rwandan agriculture, led by visionaries Jacquie Turner and Malcolm Clear.
The estate’s commitment to quality is unparalleled. Using advanced satellite technology, the team monitors "leaf glare" across the plantations to detect the earliest signs of leaf rust or infestation. This early-warning system, combined with organic fertiliser from on-site worm beds, ensures only the healthiest cherries reach the station.
Once harvested, the cherries are processed using a meticulous washed method. They are depulped on a 4-disc McKinnon pulper and moved through soaking tanks to raised beds, each fitted with individual markers for total microlot traceability. The result is an exceptionally sweet, floral cup with a crisp, clean finish.
